We are “wild” about schools!

The Jackson Zoo is happy to offer reservations for schools and educators for our Safari Earth Day special event set for Wednesday, April 22, 2026. Let’s celebrate Earth Day the wild way!

Enjoy a day full of eco-fun featuring:

Recycling & Sustainability Stations
DIY Crafts
Scavenger Hunt
Animal Encounters & Keeper Chats
Kidz Zone, Music, Food Trucks and more!

THINGS TO KNOW:

School field trip are available by advance reservation only.
All reservations are on a first come, first served basis.
Students will be admitted for FREE only for this event.
It is required for one adult aged 18 or older per every 10 students, One teacher per every 10 students and the bus driver(s), are free.
Any additional chaperones or parents wishing to accompany their children are only $2 each.
Rides on the Endangered Species Carousel are FREE only for this event.
